Taylor Herring unleashes special campaign for Kellogg's on London Underground
PR agency Taylor Herring has secured coverage in national papers and beyond with a PR stunt for Kellogg's cereal Special K that involved deploying a trio of breakfasting commuters across the London Underground this week.

The three individuals were sent on to London's transport network in the morning rush hour, with what a Taylor Herring press release calls "custom-made mobile breakfasting units", nicknamed ‘Special Kases’, fitted with a fridge to supply cold milk, hidden side compartments storing bowls, a full set of cutlery, a thermos flask and a juicer – and of course space for boxes of the cereal itself.
Commuters’ reactions to the week-long stunt have been captured on hidden cameras and a YouTube video compilation of these (see end of story) has been viewed more than 50,000 times since being posted on Tuesday.
Jo Cummins, an actress who was one of the three hired by Taylor Herring, told the Daily Mirror: "I had more conversations with members of the public this week than I’ve ever had in my whole time using the tube service. It certainly perked up the commute for some, while others were a bit taken aback by my odd behaviour."
Liam O’Brien, a media specialist at Kellogg’s, said: "With almost one in three adults missing breakfast every day, we wanted to show that even for people with the busiest lifestyles, there’s always time for a bowl of Special K cereal."
