Porter's role will be on a part-time basis and involve consulting across Golden Goose clients and new business and agency marketing.

She founded consumer agency Iris PR in 2005. The agency is now known as iris Culture, part of iris Worldwide which sold to Cheil in 2014. At Iris Porter worked with clients including Wonderbra, Speedo, Heineken and BMW Mini. Prior to iris, Nick was a director at Band & Brown (now Citizen), where she headed up UK PR for Sony Mobile.

Golden Goose founder Miki Haines-Sanger said: "I've always wanted to work with Nick. I've had tremendous respect for her achievements over the years, building an outstanding agency from a team of two people to what iris is today. Her creative and strategic skills are a rare combination, and the perfect fit for Golden Goose PR."

Porter said: "Golden Goose is at a such an exciting stage. There is a unique creative energy here, which is genuinely infectious, and means it punches above its weight for a boutique agency, with FTSE 250 clients like Vodafone Group and two Cannes Lions shortlistings in three years."

Rupert Esdaile, senior account manager at Golden Goose PR, was included in PRWeek’s 30 Under 30 contingent for 2015.
