Weber Shandwick hires trio to boost digital team

Weber Shandwick has made three senior hires in its digital team including Al Berry from Bacardi, who joins as head of content.

Berry has been at Bacardi since 2011, developing global content campaigns across its portfolio of brands.

He is joined by Parmita Ghosh as senior digital strategist in the agency's planning department in London.

Ghosh was previously at Leo Burnett, where she worked on consumer digital campaigns for brands including Max Factor, McDonald's and Samsung. Before this she held roles at Google, JWT and Saatchi & Saatchi.
Andrew Phillips will take up the role of digital new business director for EMEA. Phillips previously worked at The Digital Consultancy and before this was at FCB Global and SapientNitro.

In addition to the hires, Weber Shandwick's Danny Whatmough has been promoted to head of social (EMEA) and Tabitha Winter, who joined from Karmarama, has been promoted to head of studio (EMEA).
