Thunderbirds co-creator Sylvia Anderson hires Tidy Eye PR for new TV series

Thunderbirds co-creator Sylvia Anderson has appointed Devon-based Tidy Eye PR to promote a new TV series called The Last Station, plus a lifestyle website and celebrity charity ball.

The science fiction series is currently being developed by Factory Transmedia, which made the new Clangers series. 

Anderson and her daughter Dee have also created GloTime.TV, a multimedia platform to mark the 50th anniversary of the Thunderbirds series. Tidy Eye is to help with site and social media promotion.

The agency will handle PR around the Pink FAB Ball, held at London’s Landmark Hotel next May to mark the anniversary. All proceeds will go to Breast Cancer Care.

Tidy Eye, headed by CEO Raymond Goldsmith, was appointed without a pitch.

Dee Anderson said: "Raymond is very proactive and is known as an out-of-the-box creative thinker. He's already had a positive impact within the company and we're looking forward to a long and fruitful working relationship."
