Lindsay founded Tangerine in 2002. The agency now has more than 60 employees and works with brands including Peugeot, Pizza Hut and Reebok as well as Gary Neville’s and Ryan Giggs’ national Hotel & Café Football chain.

She created The Juice Academy, a social media apprenticeship programme, two years ago, to help fill a skills gap in the sector and create quality careers for young people. Tangerine oversees the recruitment and training of the programme, which has helped more than 80 people into jobs so far.

Lindsay said: "Launching our own apprenticeship programme was no mean undertaking and we’ve at times struggled with the bureaucracy. But it’s been well worth the effort when you see the brilliant achievements of the young people on our programme and hear the feedback from their employers.
"Our ambition for The Juice Academy is to continue to grow. We’re also keen to gain funding to introduce a much needed graduate model, so that we can start offering quality careers to graduates as well as school leavers."

Lindsay has also set up Manchester Masters, a graduate retention programme, and Creative Break, which offers business admin apprenticeship roles within creative agencies and marketing departments across the North West.

She is vice-chair of Forever Manchester (the Community Foundation for Greater Manchester) and a national Ambassador for Apprenticeships.

Lindsay added: "Tangerine wouldn’t be the success it is without so many people like my business partner Sarah Halton, and my two MDs at Tangerine, Mary Harding and Sam Gregory. The Juice Academy is also a collaboration with the many dedicated people on our Advisory Panel. This honour is for them as much as for me."
