NEW YORK: Ogilvy Public Relations has brought on Robyn Massey as global CCO, a newly created role, effective immediately.
She is reporting to global CEO Stuart Smith in the New York-based position.
Massey most recently was VP of corporate communications and head of external relations and partnerships at Ketchum, a London-based role. She also served as VP of corporate communications in London and VP of corporate communications and media relations at Ketchum in New York.
Previously, Massey was director of marketing and PR at Windows on the World and director of PR at The Rainbow Room, both in New York City.
"At a time when integrated communications is valued more than ever, I am especially excited to help the global team tell and propel the Ogilvy Public Relations story," she said, via email.
Massey will work closely with Ogilvy & Mather global CMO Lauren Crampsie in the role.
Last September, Ogilvy PR, which has estimated global revenue of $300 million, reshuffled its top ranks by naming then-UK-based Stuart Smith as global CEO and moving Christopher Graves to the role of chairman. Smith had worked at the WPP firm since February 2011, joining as MD of its global corporate practice. He previously was head of Hill & Knowlton’s EMEA corporate practice for three years.
In another global appointment, Ogilvy named Suresh Raj, formerly business development director for the UK and EAME, to the newly created role of MD of global business development. He also relocated from London to New York for the position.
