KPPR, which is headed by Katie Phillips, won the brief following a four-way pitch.
The festival takes place in London’s Hampton Court this autumn and features stars such as Sir David Attenborough, Sir Bruce Forsyth and David Walliams, and individuals behind popular shows such as Sex and the City, Dr Who and The Archers.
The agency is to handle the launch and PR programme for the event, and will work alongside the artists and the brands involved to capitalise on cross-promo opportunities.
The festival will run from 24 to 27 September and it will host more than 70 live events, including talks, interactive workshops, exhibits and screenings.
KPPR’s clients include comedians Ricky Gervais, Milton Jones, Ross Noble and Julian Clary, plus Soho Theatre and Sadler’s Wells Peacock Theatre, along with TV production company Hat Trick and TV channels CBeebies and BBC Three.
