NEW YORK: Hill+Knowlton Strategies has appointed RF|Binder exec Molly O’Neill to serve as head of its US marcomms practice, effective May 27.
O’Neill, who most recently served as executive MD at RF|Binder, brings her expertise as "a strong storyteller" to H+K, said Mike Coates, president and CEO of the Americas at the agency, in a statement.
O’Neil will report to Coates.
Prior to O’Neill, Craig Alperowitz served as H+K’s US marcomms leader since January 2014. At the time, he reported to former US president and CEO Andy Weitz. According to Alperowitz’s LinkedIn profile, he left the firm last October.
Representatives from H+K were not available to comment.
O’Neill joined RF|Binder last year. Before that, she served as MD of the lifestyle and wellness practice at DeVries Global, where she worked for eight years and helped create the firm’s multicultural practice. While at DeVries, she served consumer brands including Procter & Gamble, Celebrity Cruises, Johnson & Johnson, Abbott Nutrition, and Tyson Foods.
She also previously worked for Dorland Global Health and Manning Selvage & Lee.
