NEW YORK: Combs Enterprises has hired Nathalie Moar as SVP and head of communications. She will oversee all comms for entertainer Sean Combs and his portfolio of businesses, including Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group and Sean John.

She has enlisted PMK*BNC to manage media relations across Combs’ properties, according to a statement.

NEW YORK: Active lifestyle fitness brand Pure Barre has named Turner PR as its AOR. The firm will work on an integrated consumer and b-to-b campaign for the brand, which has 300 franchises. Turner has offices in New York, Denver, and Chicago.

NEW YORK: Rubenstein Public Relations has hired Anu Kher as associate VP, managing media relations strategies for the firm’s corporate and financial services division. She previously worked at Affect.

LOS ANGELES: Crescent Capital Group has hired Peter Mitchell as SVP of investor relations, responsible for marketing its strategies to institutional investors including public pension plans and multi-employer pension plans. He was previously senior portfolio specialist at Thronburg Investment Management.

SEATTLE: The Port of Seattle has named Julie Collins as senior director of public affairs, according to The Seattle Times. She was previously chief external affairs officer at the Port of Tacoma and was earlier a Capitol Hill aide.

WILLIAMSVILLE, NY: Casteel Schoenborn has promoted Katherine Croft to senior manager of investor relations and director of media relations. She was previously manager of media relations and research.

CALGARY: Hemostemix, a clinical-stage autologous cell-therapy company, has retained Stonegate Capital Partners for strategic investor relations services in the US. It will target the US institutional investment community.
