In an unusual move, Twitter put its marketing department under CFO Anthony Noto, who will oversee the group until he hires a CMO, according to numerous reports. Marketing was previously under the product department.
Before that, Twitter comms leader Gabriel Stricker oversaw marketing for the microblogging platform.
