Glover was most recently at Pearson where he was senior vice president of corporate communications and led on the company's education technology campaign.
Prior to this, Glover spent five years at the Financial Times in various roles including head of digital comms and deputy director of comms, where he was responsible for helping shift perceptions of the company from a traditional publisher to a digital news organisation. He also led the FT's social media strategy.
In his new role Glover will oversee all global external, internal and digital communications.
Glover joins along with a host of new appointments including Craig Stevens, former director of sales and digital marketing at Auto Trader, as chief commercial officer.
