Mothercare parts company with Tulchan as integrated comms brief up for grabs

Mothercare is holding a pitch with four agencies as it looks to expand its financial PR account into a more integrated brief, including corporate and consumer brand comms.

Mothercare appointed Tulchan in 2012 to advise on its capital markets comms activity. Tulchan is not repitching for the work.

The pitch process is being managed by group director of corporate comms, Anna Harland.

The decision to move towards a more integrated comms brief follows the recent hire of Gary Kibble to the new role of group brand and marketing director. Kibble joined last month from Shop Direct, as part of a wider management restructure.

Kibble's role is to modernise the Mothercare and Early Learning Centre brands, and make the company more digitally led.

Mothercare declined to comment.
