CHICAGO: Dresner Corporate Services has acquired Allen & Caron, a strategic IR firm with offices in New York and Irvine, California. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Steven Carr, MD of Dresner, will serve as CEO, while Joe Allen will be SVP and manage the New York office. Rene Caron will oversee the Irvine office as SVP.

MINNEAPOLIS: Gustavus Adolphus College has picked Maccabee Public Relations as its firm handling PR, social media, and communications. The college is located in St. Peter, Minnesota, and it educates 2,400 students per year from 43 states and 15 foreign countries, it said in a statement.
