NEW YORK: Porter Novelli has promoted SVP Henry Engleka to EVP in its global health and wellness practice and brought on Diana Scott, former SVP of healthcare at Weber Shandwick, as SVP in the group.
The firm also named former MTV.com and MTV News managing editor Tamar Anitai as SVP for content strategy, it said Friday morning.
Engleka, who has worked at Porter since 2013, is a co-founder of Zibbel, a cloud-based mobile health company. He also served as CEO of P4 Strategy Group and principal and MD at Widmeyer Communications in New York, according to LinkedIn account.
Scott will report to Engleka, working with clients in the healthcare space, the firm said in a statement. Before Weber, she was a healthcare VP at Ruder Finn, VP at Publicis Consultants, and VP of global healthcare at MS&L, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Finding top talent is a major challenge in healthcare, especially in a "hot market" such as New York City, said Darlan Monterisi, partner and MD in New York, adding that mid-level roles can prove difficult to fill.
Anitai’s role will include overseeing content strategy for the PN Connect digital specialty group. She will report to Chad Hyett, SVP of digital. Before nine years working at MTV, Anitai was director of content strategy at PunchStock & UpperCut Images and served in various roles at AOL, most recently as a senior manager at AOL Community, according to her LinkedIn.
