JAKARTA - The World Economic Forum has chosen Ogilvy PR Indonesia to manage public relations around its upcoming East Asia Forum that will take place in Indonesia's capital city from 19 to 21 April. The event was last held in Jakarta in 2011.

The agency is tasked with communicating and promoting the meeting's theme of 'Anchoring Trust in East Asia's New Regionalism'. The forum will be attended by more than 500 senior decision-makers from various public and private sectors. The goal of the event is to explore how enhancing trust can improve regional cooperation.

"It is the perfect time for the Forum to be back in the region," said Fon Mathuros, senior director, Head of Media, World Economic Forum. "Our participants have the opportunity to learn more about Indonesia, its newly elected government and the ASEAN Economic Community spanning 16 countries and more than 600 million people."
