Scott Langham leaves Freuds for deputy managing editor role at MailOnline UK

Scott Langham, Freuds PR and former head of complaints at the Press Complaints Commission, has been appointed deputy managing editor at MailOnline UK.

He will oversee editorial operations on behalf of the MailOnline and, as well as managing its editorial globally.

Langham worked for PR company Freuds for just over three years, both as an associate director and senior account director. Before that he was at the Press Complaints Commission for nine years, working as head of complaints for his final two years.

Between September 2002 and April 2003 he worked as a researcher at Carlton Television on the daytime television show Today with Des and Mel.
Langham, who took up his role on Monday, said, ‘I’m really excited to be joining the MailOnline team and I can’t wait to get started. I’m looking forward to building on my previous experience to help MailOnline continue to deliver the most vibrant and influential news website for its huge global audience.’
