Stafford was previously a senior account director at H+K Strategies. He has also held positions at Firebox, Amazon and Edelman.
In his new role he will be working on accounts including The Weather Network, Harley-Davidson and Pizza Hut.
The move follows the appointment of Ruth Kieran as deputy MD and is part of a wider restructure of the agency’s senior management team.
The agency is also looking at further team expansion in its corporate division.
