McDonald's Europe appoints Mark Street as director of European comms

McDonald's Europe has appointed Mark Street as director of European comms, with responsibility for external affairs, including media engagement, crisis management and internal comms.

Street joins from consumer brand 118 118 where he was PR director, leading comms across five countries, as well as 118 118 Money in the UK.
Before that he held various roles with Vodafone Group, ultimately as senior comms strategy and planning manager, working across more than 20 countries.

He will be based at McDonald’s European office in London and will report to Julian Hilton-Johnson, vice-president corporate relations and chief of staff to the president, McDonald’s Europe.
Hilton-Johnson said:  "Mark’s expertise in leading European communications strategies and managing cross-border issues will be invaluable as we continue to engage our customers and key stakeholders around our food, our supply chain and all aspects of our business."
