US tennis brand Prince Global Sports hires Brandnation

Brandnation has been appointed by US tennis brand Prince Global Sports to handle the UK and European launch of its TeXtreme product line, following a non-competitive pitch.

This is the first time the brand has appointed a UK PR agency. Brandnation starts work on the account immediately.

The brief includes managing the brand’s UK and European press office covering trade, specialist and consumer media.

The agency will also manage the brand’s ambassador programme, which includes players from the Association of Tennis Professionals' top 100, such as world number eight David Ferrer and the world number one doubles pairing, Bob and Mike Bryan.

Mike Ballardie, CEO at Prince Global Sports, said it was working with Brandnation to "ramp up" its UK and European comms in a bid to engage new and existing customers.
