The company said in a statement: "Edelman is considering a restructure of its digital business. The marketplace for digital services is evolving quickly and we want to ensure we are structured in a way that will continually meet our clients’ needs."
Last year Edelman hired Grégoire Assémat-Tessandier as head of digital, Europe & CIS. Tessandier joined from digital agency, DAN Paris, part of TBWA\Worldwide, where he was managing director. Before this he was global head of digital at Bacardi Global Brands.
Edelman is currently repitching for its corporate and public affairs brief with Diageo, which it has held for the past five years. PRWeek understands that FleishmanHillard is also pitching for the work along with one or two other agencies.
