NOVI, MI: Former Airfoil co-CEO Janet Tyler has joined IT services and consulting firm Red Level Networks as COO.

Tyler started the job on Wednesday. She is tasked with managing day-to-day operations and overseeing Red Level’s marketing and communications initiatives.

Tyler succeeds Randy Cummings, who was promoted to director of business solutions.

Red Level, which has 35 employees, is reorganizing and expanding its services following 20% year-over-year growth, according to a release. The company plans to hire additional staffers and open a new office in Ohio this year.

Tyler joins Red Level from technology PR firm Airfoil, which she co-established with Lisa Vallee-Smith in 2000. As co-CEO of the agency, she led international business strategy, expanded traditional and digital marketing services, and developed major accounts including Microsoft and eBay.

She departed Airfoil last October.

Tyler was not immediately available for comment.
