The 15 channels had more than ten million views between them in January. The most viewed video, featuring YouTube sensation Zoella, had 350,000 views and was made by London-based Irish family the SacconeJolys, who rank second in the January index.
The list is based on an algorithm, which produces figures on reach and engagement.
The index aims to highlight how vlogging on specialist topics for parents is increasing. Channel Mum conducted a study of 4,500 people, which found that the birth of a child is the main reason for under-35s to post videos more frequently.
Channel Mum co-founder and director Clementine Hancox said: "While daily vlogs about family life continue to have huge appeal for mums, this month we’re seeing that more niche or specialist content for parents is starting to find its place on YouTube.
"This represents a big opportunity for new talent on YouTube for brands, who can tap into the interests of the many different types of mums and their audiences."
