William Grant opens global pitch for Tullamore Dew whiskey brand

Scottish distillery William Grant & Sons is looking for a global consumer PR agency to promote its Irish whiskey brand Tullamore Dew, PRWeek has learned.

The process is being managed by global brand comms manager Cliodhna Lamont. Currently there is no consumer agency working for the brand.

In the past, Kaper and Eulogy have worked for Tullamore Dew.

William Grant, which owns brands including Hendrick's Gin, Glenfiddich whisky and Sailor Jerry Rum, approached around 20 agencies and has begun a pitch process.

The brief is to launch the brand globally with supporting campaigns and provide a press office function.

William Grant declined to comment.
