Madano hires The Think Tank's Samantha Dawe to head corporate arm

Madano has appointed Samantha Dawe of The Think Tank to head its corporate practice.

Dawe spent 12 years at The Think Tank, where she headed the PR aspect of the business.

Madano, which is owned by Canadian firm National Public Relations, has clients including CBRE Global Investors, aviation consultants Seabury, engineering firm Laing O’Rourke and Wates Development in its corporate arm. More recently it started working with housing association the Hyde Group.

Dawe said: "Madano is at an exciting point in its evolution in 2015, so it’s a great time to be on board running the corporate practice."

Michael Evans, managing partner at Madano, said: "Samantha brings with her a hugely valuable skill set that I’ve got no doubt will be of great benefit to clients across our corporate portfolio."

Dawe’s appointment follows news last month that Nick Turton had been promoted to head Madano’s energy practice.

The agency has recently been focusing on integrating across the comms, research and creative specialisms.
