Capella, which secured the account via a non-competitive pitch, is to lead a campaign to encourage even more consumers to use Doodle, focusing on positioning it as a way to sustain and rekindle friendships.
Doodle is based in Switzerland and owned by publishing company Tamedia. The free service aims to simplify the process of scheduling events, allowing a ‘poll’ to be taken of potential participants to decide when an event will take place.
Gareth Thomas, founder of Capella, said: "In a world of jam-packed diaries, arranging group social meet-ups can sometimes feel like herding cats. Doodle solves this issue and is already growing exponentially. We are looking forward to accelerating this with a campaign that connects Doodle with friendship and showcases how it makes social lives easier."
Michael Brecht, CEO of Doodle, said: "Capella has some really smart ideas about how we can take the Doodle brand to the next level in the UK."
