NEW YORK: Investor relations and strategic corporate communications firm MBS Value Partners has brought on Margaret Mager as MD. She was previously MD and business unit leader in Goldman Sachs’ equity research department.

WASHINGTON: Ogilvy Public Relations has hired longtime Capitol Hill aide Dan Scandling as SVP for corporate and public affairs. Scandling has served as chief of staff to two members of Congress, and worked for Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA) for 14 years.

FRANKLIN, TN: Infiniti Americas has named Aileen Clarke as its West region communications manager. She will report to Kyle Bazemore, senior manager of communications for Infiniti USA.  Clarke previously worked at Land Rover, Premier Automotive Group, and Ford of Europe.

LOS ANGELES: Herbalife has hired Marcus Reese in the role of VP for state and local government affairs. He will report to Alan Hoffman, EVP of global corporate affairs, and manage communications with state and local thought leaders. Reese was most recently chief of staff at Tusk Strategies.

SYRACUSE, NY: Syracuse University’s Newhouse communications school has launched a Masters in Digital Media program, called Communications@Syracuse. It will include custom courses such as multimedia storytelling, social media, and digital communications systems, as well as specialized tracks in advertising, PR, and journalism innovation.

HOLLYWOOD, FL: Fish Consulting has hired Lynette McKee as a business development consultant. She will continue to work with her clients as CEO and managing partner of McKeeCo Services while assisting Fish in building partnerships in franchising.
