Work begins this month, including press office support, spokesperson profiling and comms support for Kia's network of regional dealerships across the UK.

Kazoo will focus on highlighting the quality and design of Kia’s cars, positioning the brand in a more premium space in the market and boosting trust levels among target consumers.

The agency will also handle the launch of Kia’s 2015 TV campaign in March, which is being supported by digital, social and print activity.

Steve Kitson, Kia Motor’s director of corporate comms, said: "We want Kia to be seen as a more premium automotive brand – one that people aspire to buy, confident in the brand’s quality, safety and design. Kazoo’s pitch, delivered by an enthusiastic and switched-on team, ticked all the right boxes for us and we’re looking forward to seeing some outstanding results."

Kazoo managing partner Jessica Owen said: "A fast-growing brand like Kia is a great addition to Kazoo’s client roster and we intend to maximise the wealth of opportunities available to the brand across the consumer and corporate media spectrums and beyond."
