Cosworth hires Sine Qua Non for global brief

Cosworth, the engineering and manufacturing group, has appointed Sine Qua Non International (SQN) to support its global PR activities in 2015.

The agency has been brought in on a retained basis, with a brief to drive awareness of the company internationally. It will cover PR and digital comms in the UK, Europe, Asia and the US.

SQN previously handled the PR for Cosworth’s Formula 1 programme.
This year, Cosworth will mark 50 years since the opening of its Northampton facility. SQN will support the official opening of an advanced manufacturing centre later this year.

Cosworth’s head of comms and partnerships, Pio Szyjanowicz, said: "We recognise the importance that PR will play in the ongoing development of our business. We have retained Sine Qua Non as our global PR agency for 2015 following a number of strategic PR initiatives that we have worked on together previously.

"Its work will also include support of our digital output, as well as the formal opening of our new advanced manufacturing centre in the coming months. We have already seen the positive results of SQN’s work in key markets around the world, and we look forward to working with it further to position Cosworth as a trusted partner for high performance automotive OEMs [original equipment manufacturers]."
SQN director of comms Chris Hughes said: "We look forward to supporting Cosworth’s strategy for growth and in particular the opening of its state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing centre this year."
