The entertainment brand brought in design studio Studio Output and production studio Found to turn the best tweets of the anniversary campaign into a shareable video.
The video was uploaded to PlayStation’s social profiles and has received more than 350,000 views within the first 24 hours of going live. It will also be sent directly to the gamers whose tweets featured in the video.
Dan Moore, creative director at Studio Output, said: "This was a particularly fun project for us as we were able to pull creative inspiration directly from the gamers’ emotion and excitement and transform it into tangible, reactive content.
"By taking a more minimalistic design approach, we ensured that the animated compositions didn’t detract from the authenticity of feeling, helping PlayStation give back to its fans and emphasising that they are ‘For the Players’."
