NEW YORK: MSLGroup has brought on Andrea Morgan, former New York consumer marketing lead for Golin, to serve as SVP in the consumer practice.
Morgan, who stepped down as Golin’s executive director and head of the consumer marketing practice in New York last October, reports to Andrew Silver, MD of MSLGroup New York.
She oversees the North American and global business for a "leading CPG company" at MSLGroup, according to her LinkedIn profile. The firm declined to disclose further information about the client or her responsibilities.
"We’re thrilled that Morgan has joined our strong consumer marketing team," said Silver in a statement. "She is a seasoned PR leader in the consumer space who brings more than 20 years of PR, strategic communications, and brand management to her role at MSLGroup."
Morgan started at the Publicis Groupe agency in November, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Prior to joining Golin in 2013, Morgan was an MD at Emanate for nearly a year, where she led the consumer practice and business development. Before that, she worked at Zeno Group as MD of the New York office for about three years.
She also previously served as EVP and MD at Euro RSCG Worldwide from 2006 to 2009, and she spent more than 10 years at Edelman.
Earlier this month, MSLGroup hired Gailanne Grosso, a 10-year veteran of Blue Advertising, to serve in the newly created role of executive creator director in the New York office.
