Wild Card names new CEO and MD as it wins Highland Spring account

Food, drink and lifestyle PR agency Wild Card has undergone a management shake-up that has seen the appointment of a new MD and CEO, alongside a new account win with bottled water brand Highland Spring.

Senior director in the London office, Tessa Willmott, has been promoted to managing director, with current MD Kate Wild named chief executive. Georgie Upton will become divisional director, overseeing Wild Card's office in Truro, Cornwall.

The agency, which acquired Parker Hobart at the end of last year, has also recruited Stuart Hood as head of digital. He joins from McDonald's where he was digital marketing manager overseeing a £5m budget.

The UK trade and consumer PR brief for Highland Spring is to boost brand awareness and lifestyle appeal, as well as promoting the Highland Spring British Tennis partnership.

Wild Card has also been appointed by Dorset-based biscuit brand Thomas J Fudge's to oversee product launches throughout the year.

Wild said: "This is an exciting time for Wild Card on the back of our recent acquisition of the homewares and interiors PR specialist Parker Hobart. It was a busy year end with some exciting new contracts on the cards and I know Tess and Georgie are well equipped to meet the respective challenges of their new roles."
