Gym and fitness brand Equinox hires John Doe for UK PR push

Global gym and fitness brand Equinox has appointed John Doe to handle its UK PR following a five-way pitch.

John Doe, which has offices in London and New York, replaces Mission PR as the UK comms agency for the American company, which operates 73 sites worldwide including one in London’s Kensington.

The remit will cover consumer placements, content creation and publicity around the brand’s PR and marketing initiatives.

Other account wins for John Doe in recent months have included Malibu rum and three European festivals from Festival Republic in the UK, as well as Beats by Dre in North America
