The New England Patriots demolished the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 45-7 on Sunday night, but the news wasn’t all good for the AFC champions early this week.
Reports surfaced that 11 of the 12 footballs the team used in the game were underinflated – and therefore easier to throw and catch. The ensuing NFL investigation threatened to become a distraction for both the team and the league with Super Bowl XLIX less than two weeks away.

Other brands got in on the action as well in the lead-up to the Super Bowl.
