6 Hillgrove’s brief is to keep the fracking debate in the mainstream news and highlight the health warnings about it that have been backed up by scientists.

6 Hillgrove will try to raise the issue among politicians who, it says, have pushed it to the back of their agendas.

Talk Fracking is headed up by Westwood and her son, co-founder of Agent Provocateur, Joe Corre.

In December Westwood made headlines when she and Corre turned up outside Downing Street and attempted to give Prime Minister David Cameron a Christmas gift of asbestos.

Talk Fracking has the support of 150 celebrities and academics, including Paul McCartney and Helena Bonham-Carter.

Richard Hillgrove, founder of 6 Hillgrove, said: "Fracking really is a big con. The incredible dangers are staring us all in the face. Double think is being used to make it happen at all costs. There are some horror stories coming out of the United States that would make people run a mile from a fracking site. We are emphasising how undemocratic the fracking drive is. Britons don’t want it. But it’s being forced upon them."

Borkowski has previously worked on the campaign.
