This Friday, January 23, is the final extended deadline for submissions to the 2015 PRWeek Global Awards.
The awards are open to PR agencies, consultancies, in-house departments and the individuals who work within them. Companies or individuals may submit entries here on behalf of themselves or others and may enter any number of categories.
Entries can be received until 11:59pm GMT on Friday, January 23 (6:59 EST). The awards will be judged by a stellar group of senior global PR pros from the in-house and agency sides of the communications business.
Campaign categories require work to have been carried out in a minimum of two regions. People and agency categories require work to have been carried out in two or three continents as indicated in the category criteria.
Entries must be for work conducted between December 31, 2013 and December 31, 2014. A portion of the work must have occurred during this time, but it does not necessarily need to have been started or completed during the eligibility period.
"We created these awards to honor what makes PR the most powerful tool in a marketer or company's arsenal," said Julia Hood, EVP, marketing brands at Haymarket Media. "Growing brands and building trust across borders and cultures is complex and fraught with risk. Only PR has the capacity to build bridges in a way that secures a sustainable future for products, services and organizations on a global scale."
The PRWeek Global Awards honors the transformative work that crosses borders, building brands and trust, enabling the growth of international enterprise. It is the only awards program that benchmarks the most important work going across markets around the world.
The winners will be those submissions that produced the most transformational work and those who ran first-rate organizations of all kinds - they will be honored at a gala event in London on the evening of Tuesday, April 28.
