Havas Media launches luxury group; Bacardi names Ivanov CMO; Omnicom promotes two senior execs.

PARIS: Havas Media Group launched the LuxHub global luxury practice on Tuesday. Based in Milan, the group will provide media communications and marketing support for luxury brands and audiences. Isabelle Harvie-Watt will oversee LuxHub’s expansion and services.

HAMILTON, BERMUDA: Bacardi Limited has promoted Dmitry Ivanov to CMO of Bacardi and president of Bacardi Global Brands. Most recently VP and global category director of rums, he will report to Bacardi Limited CEO Mike Dolan. Bacardi named Jim Gallagher as its global CCO in November.

NEW YORK: Omnicom Group has promoted Peter Swiecicki to SVP of finance and controller and Andrew Castellaneta to SVP and chief accounting officer. Swiecicki was previously director of business operations, while Castellaneta was assistant controller.

ATLANTA: Wrap sandwich brand Great Wraps has named Trevelino/Keller as its PR agency of choice. Launched in 1989, Great Wraps has more than 70 US locations.

AUSTIN, TX: Konnect Public Relations has opened an office in Austin, Texas, that will work with food and beverage, baby and children’s products, and franchise concept clients.
