Brunswick brings on former Pentagon spokesman; Ogilvy signs Search Optics as client; BMI hires Fischer as corp comms VP; Warner Communications launches Millennial marketing practice.

WASHINGTON: Brunswick Group has hired George Little, former Pentagon press secretary and director of public affairs and spokesman for the CIA, as a partner in its Washington, DC, office. Along with recent hire and director Siobhan Gorman, Little will focus on growing the firm’s corporate data and privacy practice.

LOS ANGELES: Digital marketing firm Search Optics has selected Ogilvy Public Relations as its AOR. Ogilvy will help Search Optics expand its business and growth goals through strategic marketing, the firm said in a statement.

NEW YORK: Broadcast Music Inc. has named Liz Fischer as VP of corporate communications and marketing, effective immediately. She is overseeing both functions for BMI, reporting to president and CEO Mike O’Neill. Fischer was most recently VP of communications for NBC News.

LOS ANGELES: Warner Communications has launched a practice dedicated to marketing to Millennials. The M2M group, based in its Los Angeles office, will help clients reach consumers born between 1977 and 2000.
