CINCINNATI: Boxcar Strategies, a Louisville, Kentucky-based firm, has opened an office in downtown Cincinnati, according to numerous reports. At its opening, the location has two staffers. Boxcar opened in 2011.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ: Healthcare Trust of America, an owner of medical office buildings, has hired Jessica Thorsheim as director of investor relations. She most recently served in the same role at Move, Inc., the parent of realtor.com.
ASHEVILLE, NC: The Goss Agency has brought on Mark Schofield as SVP and director of account management. He was previously director of client services at Atlanta marketing agency Modo Modo and also worked at McKinney and Silver Advertising.
DES MOINES, IA: Meredith has acquired Selectable Media, a firm focused on native and engagement-based advertising. Selectable CEO Matt Minoff will oversee Meredith Digital’s ad operations and products, while COO Marc Rothschild will manage its ad sales, marketing, and account management teams. Both will be based in New York.
