Metia shoots for growth in US Midwest with Brooks promotion

The London-based digital firm has named Dan Brooks to a new role in its Austin office.

AUSTIN, TX: London-based marketing agency Metia has named Dan Brooks as regional VP based in the firm’s Austin office with the goal of growing its Midwestern operations.

Brooks, who joined the agency in 2010, most recently served as head of customer marketing since May 2011, according to his LinkedIn profile. Prior to that, he was program director at the firm.

Representatives from Metia were not immediately available for comment on Brooks’ new role.

Before joining Metia, Brooks served as international marketing manager for US software provider App-DNA, which is now part of Citrix. He also previously worked at Hewlett-Packard in Munich and London, where he held the role of EMEA marketing manager, and served as European marketing manager at Clarion Europa in Frankfurt.

Metia opened its Austin office in January 2013, and the firm also has footprints in Seattle, Singapore, and London.

The agency’s clients include Microsoft, Dell, Linedata, The AA, British Chambers of Commerce, and ITN Productions.

At the end of last year, Metia promoted Mark Pinsent to MD of its London office, with a focus on helping the firm expand into new b-to-b sectors.
