Red will be responsible for managing the press office, crisis management, social content, promoting major sponsorship deals and developing creative platforms for Emirates’ ‘Hello Tomorrow’ brand proposition.

PRWeek revealed in November that FleishmanHillard had lost the contract with Emirates after two years and had been unsuccessful in repitching for the work. News of the loss came shortly after the resignation of Fleishman's UK managing director Richard Kanareck.
Valerie Tan, VP public relations for Emirates Group, said: "The airline industry has had a tough few years in the UK and yet we’ve continued to go from strength to strength. The Red team demonstrated a strong grounding and knowledge of the sector alongside strategic thinking, energy and creativity. We very much look forward to working with it to take our comms to the next level."
Isobel Coney, managing director, consumer (Play) at Red, added: "The airline sector is high profile, dynamic and fast paced and Emirates is the sector leader in innovation and luxury. We cannot wait to tell its fantastic story to the UK."
