The list includes brands that stayed in the headlines for months, such as Bill Cosby and Donald Sterling.
"[Sterling was] among the first this year to learn that there is no such thing as a private conversation," she says. "His racist remarks were audiotaped, he paid the ultimate price, and he had to sell the Los Angeles Clippers."
McCown adds that while Cosby may not face a criminal trial, the damage to his reputation has already been done.
"Accusations of sexual assault from 20 years ago have resurfaced, and many more women have come forward. Charges may not be filed, but the damage to his reputation is very real," she explains. "This is a sad chapter for a comedian that we welcomed into our living rooms for many years."
