The appointment sees Good Relations join a group of agencies working on briefs across the business. The incumbent agency was The Red Consultancy, which will work alongside Good Relations on the account, while Kazoo holds the consumer PR account.
Good Relations will deliver a corporate PR programme that raises the profile of Samsung’s UK and Ireland leadership team, creating a stronger understanding of how the company is working with partners to deliver opportunities and benefits for people across the region. It will also be responsible for raising awareness of its b2b credentials.
The team will be led by director Neil Bayley, who said: "We are delighted to be given the opportunity to partner with Samsung and help create stories that evolve its reputation to support business growth in the UK and Ireland."
Rachel Lloyd, head of PR at Samsung UK and Ireland, said: "We feel it's the right time for us to tell Samsung's corporate narrative and this new brief will provide a personal face to our story, enhancing Samsung’s visibility with key commentators, customers and the industry.
"The Good Relations team pitched a strong set of corporate ideas and we're excited to see these brought to life."
