After quitting abruptly in July earlier this year the former Singapore head of Burson-Marsteller has resurfaced. This time as senior vice president, strategy, for Weber Shandwick, her former employer. Patel will be a part of the senior strategy team across the Asia Pacific region and will also be responsible for leading key regional client relationships based in Singapore. She is a seasoned communications specialist with more than 18 years of experience working across India and Asia Pacific, spanning the technology, healthcare, financial services, consumer goods and engineering sectors. She returns to Weber Shandwick where she previously chaired the regional Technology practice and served as account lead for a number of key regional clients, including Microsoft, NetApp and MasterCard Southeast Asia.
