NEW YORK: MSLGroup has brought on Gina Kelly, most recently with Ruder Finn, to serve in the newly created role of VP of human resources in its New York office.
Kelly, who started in the position earlier this month, is reporting to Andrew Silver, MD of MSLGroup New York. She is also collaborating with Maree Prendergast, chief talent officer for North America, who previously was responsible for the New York office’s human resources.
In addition to supporting the office’s talent strategy, organizational development, and employee engagement, Kelly said she is working to "ensure the right pipelining and recruiting to support anticipated growth."
She added that she is looking forward to working with staffers to provide them with necessary training and development opportunities at all levels.
Kelly said MSL is "truly employee-focused, and has a great learning and development program."
Prior to serving as head of HR for Ruder Finn’s New York office for the last two years, Kelly was manager and HR business partner at Walt Disney. She oversaw talent management, recruitment, and leadership development for the technology broadcast group at ABC Television Network in that role.
She also previously held HR positions at Princess Cruises, Marriott International, and Nestlé.
