The newest Indiana Pacers media relations intern sticks out in a crowd – and he’s not a bad shooter, either.
It’s rehabbing six-foot-nine-inch all-star forward Paul George, who is sitting out this season while he recovers from a broken leg.
George, one of the NBA’s rising stars, suffered a horrific leg injury this summer while playing in a scrimmage for the US Men’s National Basketball Team. During games, the Pacers have sat him at the scorer’s table because it’s a safer option than on the bench.
Despite sitting this season out, his sense of humor is in good shape – at least according to this tweet from the team.
