NEW YORK: Bob Cavosi, former SVP in Ogilvy Public Relations’ corporate practice, has joined Imre as SVP of the firm’s financial services group.

Cavosi, who started at the firm in late October, will be based in New York, leading the practice and a team in Baltimore. He will report to Dave Imre, partner and CEO.

Imre said that Cavosi, who noted that the firm is not "slotted" into a particular space and can approach client meetings flexibly, "understands the clients from the inside out."

Cavosi has replaced Kevin Windorf in the role. Windorf, who joined Imre in July 2013, serves as a contributing editor at Finsider, according to his LinkedIn account.

Aside from holding the SVP role at Ogilvy, Cavosi has served as MD at Broadgate Consultants, and previously worked at FleishmanHillard and Makovsky. On the in-house side, he has worked at Champion Mortgage, Penguin Group, and Chase Manhattan Bank.

In other personnel moves, Imre has promoted Ryan Jordan to VP and Liz Carley to account director in its home and building practice.
