Howard has been an associate director at Ketchum for the past three years, developing global campaigns for household and beauty brands including Fairy, Gillette Venus EMEA, Johnson & Johnson, McDonald’s and P&G.
In her new role Howard will report to consumer practice co-chairs Alex Williams and Jodie Simpson, and will help the team deliver creative campaigns for brands such as Appletiser, Capri-Sun, Nikon and Pinterest.
Howard’s appointment is the second this month for Brands2Life after Mary Pollard, who joined from Bell Pottinger two weeks ago.
Pollard, who was recognised as one of PRWeek's 29 under 29 in 2012, will help to build the agency’s portfolio of business and corporate clients as a practice director, reporting to business communications MD Harriet Rich.
Before Ketchum Howard spent more than nine years at The Red Consultancy.
She said: "I am really excited to be joining the Brands2Life team and working on its portfolio of market- leading consumer brands. The agency’s strong emphasis on digital-first, integrated comms for business impact really appealed to me when I was considering my next move."
