Mason Williams wins national brief from WorkoutIn

Mason Williams Communications has won a three-way pitch to handle PR for a business that allows people to work out from home by connecting live to a fitness instructor through their computer. Planning a post-Christmas PR push

Using a webcam people can take part in one-to one or small group exercise classes at any time and place.

Mason Williams will manage the PR, social media and blogger outreach for the site, which will be launched nationally. The site has been designed by internet entrepreneur Patricia Koch and fitness expert Andy Johnson.

The account will be handled by the agency’s Manchester office. Director Jackie Duffy said: "WorkoutIn puts you in charge of when and where you exercise – no more trying to squeeze gym classes into a busy schedule or missing out on exercising due to work or family commitments. It’s a brilliant concept and the site has been expertly executed."

Koch added: "The initial brief was for a North West launch but Mason Williams quickly demonstrated a clear understanding of our business and has the media contacts to ensure widespread national awareness around the key ‘New Year’ period."

Mason Williams has 100 offices worldwide and holds 20 consumer lifestyle accounts including hotel group Accor and haircare brand Schwarzkopf.
