Bell Pottinger Arts comprises a team of 16 specialists with arts backgrounds, led by Abel Hadden and including Victoria Preston.

The team straddles the UK, Middle East and Asia and has expertise working with galleries, auction houses and theatres, among other art institutions.

The new offering aims to draw on Bell Pottinger’s heritage in the sector and act as a conduit between business and the arts.

James Henderson, Bell Pottinger Group chief executive, said: "The arts are experiencing a difficult time and need to connect more closely with business, aligning their shared values and commercial interests.
"We have assembled a strong sector team covering media relations, on and offline reputation management, digital and social media, legal, political, crisis communications and event management to support, nurture and protect clients in the arts."
