Former Freuds trio boost agency venture with minicab start-up win

We Are Caffeine, a Shoreditch-based agency launched by three former Freuds account directors, has beaten four other agencies in a pitch to provide PR for minicab app Bounce.

The agency will support the app's expansion into London before Christmas, alongside a new campaign in the first half of 2015. Bounce offers customers fixed-fare and cash-free journeys with TfL-licensed drivers.

We Are Caffeine was founded by David Phillips, Jamie Walden and Will Cookson, who were supported by Freuds in the start-up phase of the company in the final quarter of 2013 with time off to work on their plans. Freuds is not believed to have a stake in the business.

Since the agency opened its doors in January it has picked up work from personalised children's book 'Lost My Name', Tobias Clothing, Tephi, Audiosplitter and The Breakfast Club.
